Education
I'm a lifelong learner, constantly seeking new knowledge and skills to improve my performance and advance my career. From executive education programs at top-tier universities to online courses and workshops, I've pursued a wide range of educational opportunities to broaden my horizons and deepen my expertise.
I am enrolled in the Global Executive Ph.D. program at ESCP Business School. With expected graduation in 2027. I am in the field of strategic management, looking at strategic investment decisions for companies in the ocean industries to create value from human-centered, resilient, and sustainable technology implementation and transformation. Also called Industry 5.0 transformation. I am deeply honored to have been awarded the prestigious ESCG Global Executive Ph.D. Professor Bertrand Moingeon's Scholarship for Women in Leadership.
I also completed the Maritime SheEO Leadership Accelerator Programme in collaboration with the Women’s International Shipping & Trading Association (WISTA International) and the International Maritime Organization (IMO). This prestigious program offers scholarships to women in the maritime industry. It aims to create visible role models and encourage more women to apply for leadership and board positions.
I also completed the Leading Sustainable Corporations Programme at the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. This executive-level program takes a holistic view of business sustainability. It equips leaders with the essential skills to integrate environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) factors into their business practices. As someone passionate about sustainability, this program naturally fit me.
Before that, I earned my Executive MBA with Honors from the Quantic School of Business and Technology. This elite degree program allowed me to delve into topics outside the scope of my previous work experiences and collaborate with students worldwide. Through coursework in management, leadership, data analysis, strategic thinking, finance, and related business services, I gained a broad range of skills that have served me well in my career.
I also hold a BS in Maritime Operations and Technology from the United States Merchant Marine Academy (Kings Point), with a concentration in leadership and ethics. While there, I took courses in engineering, navigation, maritime law, and other subjects specific to the industry. This degree provided me with a solid technical and operational foundation in maritime operations.
In addition to these formal degrees, I've completed various online courses and workshops from top institutions like Harvardx, MITx, and the Interaction Design Foundation. These courses have covered empathy, emotional intelligence, design thinking, and pricing strategies. I'm always looking for new opportunities to learn and grow, and I believe that my education has been a critical factor in my success.
