Speaking

I've had the privilege to share my expertise and speak at various conferences, seminars, and summits. As a speaker, I've had the opportunity to share my insights on a wide range of topics, including maritime industry trends, sustainability, automation, and leadership.

At the Voyager "case studies on the reduction of carbon emissions in the maritime sector" in 2022, I had the pleasure of presenting case studies on carbon emissions in the maritime sector. I was also a speaker at the Norwegian Hull Club's 19th Loss Prevention Committee meeting, where I shared insights on the global crew shortage and how to retain crew.

I also spoke at the Maritime SheEO conference in Mumbai in 2022, where I discussed the path to sustainability in the maritime industry. At Ocean & Energy Equality Night & Female Candidate Pool Oslo Kickoff with TOOL & Partners and Norway's Minister of Culture & Equality, I spoke about the 40 by 30 report launch and Captains without Borders.

As a speaker at the WISTA Norway Breakfast meeting, I discussed integrating design thinking into your day. At the SINTEF Human Factors in Control meeting, I discussed the importance of safety in automation and remote operations. I also had the honor of speaking at the National Academies of Sciences Marine Transportation System Innovative Science and Technology Conference, where I spoke on the importance of adapting record-keeping methods for advancing human-assisted automation.

I've also been a presenter at the Maritime Administration of the USA (MARAD), where I spoke about expanding opportunities for U.S. maritime operators. At Interferry London, I spoke at the Future of Autonomous Ferries Session, where I talked about ferry operations in the new now. I also enjoyed being a panelist at Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business Leadership Forum and the Ship Operators Cooperative Program of the United States Fall Summit.

At the Maritime Bergen breakfast seminar, I spoke about technology impacting near-future operations, including automation, autonomy, and possible legal implications. I was also a guest lecturer at the University of Southern Norway Bakkenteigen Campus, where I talked about gender and leadership in the maritime sector. Finally, I spoke about modern vessel operations enabled by technology and digitalization at the Norwegian Maritime Exporters Conference.

My speaking experience has allowed me to share my knowledge and insights with diverse audiences. I am excited to continue contributing my expertise in future speaking engagements, and I am confident that I can bring unique perspectives and valuable insights to any event.
